Platform Limitations

The Mambu Agentic Platform applies a few technical limits to keep the service reliable and predictable for everyone. This page sets them out so you can plan around them. Consumption limits (credits, invocations and user limits) are covered separately in Consumption Controls & User Limits.
Knowledge Storage
Knowledge sources and custom skills share a per-tenant storage allowance, covering everything uploaded to an agent: product user guides, policy documents, reference files, and any custom skills defined for the tenant. Each individual knowledge source is limited to 10 MB. A fixed limit applies to the combined total data storage across all your tenants. To confirm the exact figure or request more, contact your Mambu customer success manager.
Supported knowledge formats are PDF, DOCX and Markdown documents, and web page URLs.
Fair Use
To keep the platform responsive and reliable for every tenant, interaction with the platform is subject to fair-use controls. These are designed to prevent any single user or tenant from consuming a disproportionate share of capacity and affecting the experience of others. Normal interactive use is expected to sit comfortably within them, so day-to-day work is unaffected. If you expect unusually high or bursty volumes, your Mambu contact can share the applicable details and help you plan for them.
High-Risk Use
The platform is an operational assistance tool for your staff and is not intended for uses classified as high-risk under the applicable regulations. Do not use it to evaluate the creditworthiness of natural persons, to establish their credit score, or to make or recommend decisions on any individual's access to credit or other financial services. Those decisions remain with your own people, under your own policies and processes; the platform provides information they can draw on, with sources shown so it can be checked.
Audit Log Export
The audit log can be exported from Agent Studio for compliance and troubleshooting. Each export is limited to a maximum of 500 entries, so narrow the filters to a specific period or user to capture what you need.
Notification Retention
Notifications in Agent Studio and the Subscription Portal are retained for 30 days, after which they are purged.
