Getting Started with Mambu Insights

Mambu Insights is currently only available for AWS environments.


This guide introduces the core components of Mambu Insights: the Mambu Data Lake and the Agentic AI framework (Mambu Copilot). Understanding these concepts is the first step toward unlocking the full potential of your banking data.

Mambu Data Lake introduction​

The Mambu Data Lake is a centralized, cloud-native repository designed to hold all your Mambu data. It addresses the common challenges of data extraction by providing a scalable and unified source for analytics, reporting, and integration, with minimal impact on your core banking engine's performance. Key features include:

  • Near real-time data updates: Access complete, accurate, and timely data that is updated hourly.
  • Domain-aligned data products: Instead of exposing raw database tables, Mambu Insights provides ready-to-use "Gold Standard" data products that are aligned with Mambu's domain models and APIs. This eliminates your exposure to internal Mambu data models and protects you from breaking changes.
  • Modern data formats: The Data Lake uses open formats like Parquet and Delta Lake, making it easy to integrate with modern data platforms.

Agentic AI (Mambu Copilot) introduction​

Mambu Copilot is the intelligence layer of Mambu Insights. It uses an agentic AI framework to analyze your data, uncover hidden trends, and deliver actionable insights directly to you.

How it works:

  • Proactive discovery: AI agents run automatically on your data to identify opportunities and risks across different domains, such as lending, deposits, customer segmentation, and compliance.
  • Actionable recommendations: Mambu Copilot doesn't just present data; it provides clear, concise insights and recommends actions you can take. For example, it might identify a liquidity risk from foreign currency accounts and suggest implementing FX hedging strategies.
  • Conversational interface: You can interact with the Mambu Copilot Assistant via a chat interface to ask follow-up questions, request deeper analysis, or get guidance on implementing solutions using Mambu APIs.

This AI-driven approach transforms your data from a passive asset into a proactive, competitive advantage.
