Pricing and Consumption

Mambu Insights uses a hybrid pricing model that combines the predictability of a fixed subscription with the flexibility of usage-based consumption, ensuring you only pay for what you use.

You will be able to subscribe and use any product as listed on this page to be used and billed accordingly, with credits always debited from your annual subscription.

SaaS Yearly Subscription Fee (Fixed)​

This is a fixed annual fee tiered based on your transactional volume, measured in Transactions Per Second (TPS). This fee covers the core platform components:

  • Product licensing and UI access
  • Platform observability, operations, and security
  • Core Banking Engine data streaming for one production tenant.

Mambu Insights Credits (Variable)​

Credits are the currency of the Mambu Insights platform and are used to pay for variable consumption of resources. You purchase credits in bundles, which are then consumed for the following activities:

Storage​

You are charged for the amount of compressed data stored in the Mambu Data Lake (AWS S3).

  • Rate: 100 credits per Terabyte per month.
  • Billing: Usage is metered on the first day of each month, and the corresponding credits are debited from your balance.

Compute​

Compute resources for running data pipelines are measured in Mambu Compute Units (MCUs). Each data product update consumes credits based on:

  • MCU size: Workers are available in T-shirt sizes (e.g., XS, S, M), with larger sizes consuming more credits per hour but processing data faster.
  • Execution duration: You are billed for the time an MCU is active, with a one-minute minimum charge.

This model allows you to control costs by configuring the frequency and compute power for each of your data pipelines.
